Illinois Chapter Leader

Shreyas Raini

“My name is Shreyas Raini, and now I am a freshman at Barrington High School. Some of my passions are robotics, AI, music, and entrepreneurship. In my free time I enjoy playing my piano and guitar. I also enjoy continuing my path to learn more coding languages, and more AI. As a leader for the GCL Illinois chapter, I wish to continue spreading my passion for robotics and entrepreneurship for others through events and workshops through GCL.”

Illinois Chapter Leader

Rishitha Boddu

Hi! My name is Rishi Boddu, and I’m going to be a junior this fall at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. I’m a huge advocate for STEAM and entrepreneurship, fields that I hope to instill interest for in underrepresented demographics with my GCL chapter. I love technology; I have been interested in robotics, coding, app and website development, AI, ML, and other rising technologies for quite some time. I have been doing robotics for six years now and mentored many teams and won many awards including at an international level.

I’m involved in many different extracurriculars including speech team, First Tech Challenge robotics team, girls who code, and many more. With my GCL chapter, I hope to share my passion for science, technology, and entrepreneurship with my members and create a positive and encouraging community of like-minded individuals. I look forward to hosting camps, workshops, conferences, competitions, and also community service opportunities to bring this group together.
